WaterAid UK released on 28 May 2015 an intriguing campaign in which they put men into women “shoes” to depict how men would react when they’ll have their periods. Also they made a advert for a brand of tampons specially for men, Manpons. (Read here all the details)
The campaign is meant to raise awareness about the fact that around the world, millions of girls and women lack the clean, safe water and toilets they need to manage their periods. And it’s costing them their health, their education and their dignity. They want to change that by creating a petition (click here for petition) meant to end the taboo and the stigma.
Here are the videos which promote the campaign.
