Where the weirdos are

By Laura Vlasa

Yesterday I’ve discovered a new show called Darren McMullen’s Outsiders, produced by none other than National Geographic. And since Nat Geo always seems to provide me with what I’m looking for, in the exact moment I need it, I decided to share this TV show about subcultures with you. This brilliant Scottish guy, Darren McMullen, travels the world in search for big or small communities of all sorts of people that do not share a mainstream way of living or perceiving life. Yesterday’s episode was about the Feminist protesting movement Femen, the viking village of Foteviken in Sweden and some lads that combined brains with muscles in a sport called Chess-Box in London.  Unfortunately, you cannot watch the show directly on the official site that I’ll provide in a link below, but I trust you know your way around the Internet and can easily find, um, alternate methods to view it.

Here’s the link: http://natgeotv.com.au/tv/darren-mcmullens-outsiders/

I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did! Cheers!
